Parvati's face lit up bright when she saw her son Gajaanana all the time just like the lotus flower which blooms as the suns rays falls on it. I meditate upon this God who is single tusked and is the giver of all boons and wishes to his devotees.

Aga is the antonym of ga ( something that moves ) which means something that does not move like the mountain. Ja means born from. So agaja means born out of a mountain. Parvathy is the daughter of Himavat, Lord of Himalayas from which she got the name Shailaja, Shailaputri etc.
